National revenue collection systems directory

This directory lists named national systems that collect or hold government revenue. Africa comes first, then comparators in Asia, Latin America, Europe and elsewhere. Each row is sourced to an official page, a law, an IMF or World Bank document, or press reporting of an official finding 1,17. Rows drawn from the IMF working paper of May 2010 describe arrangements at that date and may have changed since 17.

Notes

  • Types: gateway means an online or channel-linking payment platform, TSA means a treasury single account arrangement, revenue system means a revenue authority's own payment system, aggregator platform means a privately run collection platform.
  • Private companies are named only where an official body names them in that role, such as the Presidency of Ghana 4 or the Auditor-General of Kenya as reported 11.
  • Empty official page cells mean no official page for that system was opened for this directory.
